Water Problems
No matter how common or complex your water problems are, Culligan of San Antonio has the unique solution for your home. Here are some common water problems that are prevalent in Southwest and Central Texas.
When to test your well
The Environmental Protection Agency suggests that all private wells undergo yearly testing for coliform bacteria, nitrates, and arsenic. They further advise that every two to three years, the wells should be checked for tannins, hardness, chloride, sulfate, alkalinity, iron, and copper. Additionially, you should test your well after you have a new baby, soil disturbance in the area of your well and maintainance on your well. The best time for testing your well is during spring, as the increased rainfall percolates through the soil, affecting the quality of your well water.
